Saint Lucia runs just 27 miles long and 14 miles wide, but its scenic splendor gives it extra-dimensional allure. In this paradise of sparkling ocean waters, palm-fringed beaches, volcanic mountains and plunging valleys blanketed in emerald green rainforest, inspiration is pre-ordained.
Top group properties include 96-room Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort, and 357-room Royalton Saint Lucia, with 4,000 square feet of space. Attracting some 70 leading travel awards in 2016, Saint Lucia is investing in the future with 1,000 new hotel rooms announced for the next few years. Projects include the 115-room Harbor Club, slated to open in September 2017 by the Rodney Bay Marina and offering 4,000 square feet of conference space.
With a chocolate legacy reaching back to the 1700’s, cocoa plantation tours—plus cocoa spa treatments and “choc-tails” at local bars—are among St. Lucia’s many sweet diversions.
