The largest of BVI’s quartet of main islands, Tortola is home to the centrally located capital of Road Town and meetings-capable properties including Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas and Fort Burt Hotel, with Royal Concierge Services a leading local resource for destination and event planning. Apple Bay and Smuggler’s Cove are among dozens of secluded palm-shaded white sand beaches, while cultural and heritage treasures include the 1780 Lower Estate Sugar Works Museum, Fort Burt, and Callwood Rum Distillery.
Just off Tortola, private Scrub Island is a 230-acre sanctuary fringed by three beaches. Available for buyouts, 61-room Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina includes nine villas and offers 2,100 square feet of divisible meeting space.
Groups can hop around the other main islands of Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, and Anegada via ferry and water taxi service, or book operators like Blue Sail BVI for party and sightseeing excursions.
