Looking Back...and Forward to a Sustainable Future
Dear Travel Professional,
On behalf of the Northstar Travel Group family, I’d like to congratulate the USTOA on starting their second half century of serving the travel community. We value our partnership with such a respected and valuable organization.
It's fitting that the start of USTOA's second half century begins with a change in format. This year the USTOA Business Resource is all digital. This will allow you, our readers, to link to the websites, emails, and social media content of the USTOA's member suppliers. It will allow you to access and use this resource from your computer, tablet or phone in more and better ways than in the past.
The decision to go digital and use less paper is part of a larger effort on Northstar's part, as well as the USTOA, to engineer a more sustainable industry and a better world that we can leave our children and grandchildren. You may have seen the USTOA's ad campaign, whose symbol is Sustainable Suzie. She's here again, to help us encourage and reinforce Earth-friendly strategies across the industry.
With the global pandemic under control, but certainly not eradicated, travelers are back on the road and eager for new adventures. Business is looking up, and the suppliers featured in this guide are welcoming your business with open arms. It has been a difficult few years, but we have weathered the worst of the pandemic. Travelers are reveling in the chance to travel again. And the travel suppliers referenced herein are reveling in the opportunity to serve them. You can book these tour operators with confidence, knowing that your clients’ vacations are backed by the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
Best wishes for a successful year ahead,
Anthony Carnevale
